USE CASE - Automation and Webhooks

If it could be automated,
you've already automated it

You have scripts, zaps, pipelines, and webhooks connecting everything that can be connected. The problem arises when one of those automations fails silently, or when it needs a human to make a decision and ends up waiting.

• What's going on? •

Your automations run on their own.
And they also fail on their own

And when they fail, they don’t give any warning: the Zap that’s been down for two weeks and nobody noticed, the cron job that stopped running and was only discovered because data was missing, the pipeline that turned red on Friday, the script that needs someone to approve something and just sits there waiting indefinitely, and the automation that did run but did exactly what it wasn’t supposed to do. You automated the entire process except for one part: the part that’s supposed to alert you when the process breaks.

24Cevent makes your life easier...

It doesn't just receive webhooks. It also sends them to your systems

When an event occurs, 24Cevent can trigger a response directly within your tools: restart the service, trigger the workflow in Make, run the runbook, or call your own API. And if that action requires approval from someone, it’s approved via WhatsApp before being executed.

AI doesn't just diagnose the problem: solves it on your own systems

24Brains connects to the same tools you already use to implement the solution where the problem actually occurs—not just within the platform. Routine tasks are handled automatically, and exceptional cases are routed to a person.

• It adapts to you, not the other way around •

The point where your automation and your people meet

24Cevent works both ways. On one hand, it receives events from Zapier, Make, n8n, your pipelines, or your own scripts. On the other hand, it sends actions back to those same tools to execute the appropriate response. In between lies what no automation can handle on its own: deciding when a person is needed, and making sure that person is notified.

An automation with a bug can send yo ,000 events in a minute. Save yourself the trouble.

"It's great. Among its features, the ones I appreciate most are the automatic notifications with voice calls in Spanish to different countries. It centralizes events across our entire infrastructure, integrates with multiple tools, and makes managing notifications easier for us."

Doubts?

Does 24Cevent only receive alerts, or can it also perform actions on my systems?

It does both. In addition to receiving events via webhook or API, 24Cevent can trigger actions externally: call another tool’s API, trigger a workflow in Zapier or Make, run a runbook, or restart a service. This allows the response to take place in the system where the problem is located, not just within the platform.

How do I know if a Zapier, Make, or n8n automation failed?

Set up a webhook to 24Cevent within the workflow itself, either at the end or in its error path. When the automation fails or does not complete as expected, the event is sent to 24Cevent and becomes an alert with an assigned owner, which escalates if no one acknowledges it within the defined timeframe.

Can I request approval from someone before an automated action is carried out?

Yes. Workflows are interactive: when an event occurs, 24Cevent can notify the person in charge and wait for their confirmation before executing the action. Approval can be given via WhatsApp or the configured channel, and it is logged along with the rest of the incident. This way, automation proceeds without losing human control.

What happens if a faulty automation triggers hundreds of events in a row?

Correlation and grouping rules consolidate repeated events into a single incident, rather than generating hundreds of notifications. The team receives an alert that pinpoints the source of the problem, and the rest are logged as part of the same event, without overwhelming the staff on duty.

How do I connect a tool that doesn't appear in the list of integrations?

Via a webhook or an API call. If the tool can send an HTTP request when an event occurs, it can connect to 24Cevent without any additional development. And if it doesn’t have a native webhook, it can connect through platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n, which act as a bridge to thousands of applications.

Do I need to know how to program to create a flow in 24Cevent?

Workflows and notification rules are configured through the platform, without writing code. Technical knowledge is only required when the action you want to perform involves your own API or a script on your infrastructure, because you need to define where the call is directed and with which credentials.
